Ripeville Guest Comic Strip

In June 2008 the author of Ripeville invited me to do a guest comic strip for his site and in return he would do the same for Chloroville. I created the strip shortly after the invitation but it seemed like his hectic schedule had stalled him to deliver his part for Chloroville. In October of 2008 he stopped (temporarily, I believe) updating his comic and now I think may be I should post it on my site so that it won’t go to waste.

This strip is full of fruit graphic violence and it is not recommended for viewers under the age of 18.

The Floating Light Bulb Excited About Chloroville

The Floating Light Bulb has recently published a blog article on web comic archives – “Webcomic Archives: What They Say About the Future” and in the article it mentions Chloroville:

“When I read the early episodes of Chloroville , by Victor Wong, they were so polished that I thought the strip would stay fairly constant, though I admit I found some episodes better written than others. The strip has improved so much in the past year that it’s startling, in both art and writing. As a reader, that makes me excited. How good is this guy going to get?”

I am very honored that the author has given me such great compliments.

Chloroville now on Facebook and Twitter

Two years ago my friend asked me to join Facebook and I hesitated, he said, “Are you living in a cave? Embrace the technology!” So I joined. One year ago, I told my coworker about my new comic and my problem promoting the site, she said, “May be you can start a Facebook group called Chloroville! You can announce all kinds of cool things with it.” There you go, a Chloroville Facebook group – one year after she suggested it.

And today, I setup my Twitter account. I am still skeptical about its value, but who knows? I might become a Twitter addict. In the Internet world, there is no such thing as late, but only too late. I hope I am not too late.
