Before I launched this website I already had a few strips prepared and I sent them to some of my friends and relatives for feedbacks. My niece told me particularly on this strip, “It’s so bad it’s actually funny!” Hope you guys like it.
I wanted to place Yukon in a bar scene, looking all depressed but couldn’t come up with any funny dialogues, until my coworker Jey (who is now the unofficial editor of Chloroville) mentioned that vodka was actually made from potatoes.
When I was a kid I heard from the news that astronauts would bring potatoes with them in their space mission to observe germination under zero gravitation situation. (Am I right?) For some reason this has always stuck in my mind – and this little thing led me to drawing a potato-like astronaut in the strip.
