Thank you for reading the comic! A little about me: I was in born Hong Kong and I moved to Toronto, Canada at the age of 18. I love Canada. Beautiful weather with distinctive seasons, and the people are all very nice. I like gardening (not love, because I am afraid of insects) and I believe I have a green thumb. The more I grow, the more I am fascinated by plants and fruits and veggies. May be this is the catalyst to the creation of Chloroville, a web comic featuring a cast of vegetable-like characters. It’s hard to pinpoint what my career is, but let’s say all the jobs I have had require me to use at least Photoshop and Illustrator. Despite knowing that I am working in the right field, it’s not very often that I can draw or create whatever I please. One day I was so frustrated with my full time job, I had decided to make a web comic that let me draw what I liked best – cute characters! (Please don’t tell me Chloroville is not cute. I will cry.) If you are interested, you can check out my portfolio site, Magic Ketchup. Chloroville is part comic and part blog (thanks to WordPress and Comic Press). I post a new strip every Saturday, and occasionally I will write a post or two on the topic of web comic. Please pardon my English; it’s not my first language. I encourage you to post comments on my site! If you would like to reach me via e-mail, please send away at victorwong at chloroville dot com! |

Jey Legarie, Editor
Victor and I worked together for about three years. I’m not an official grammar checker (see!) or anything, just a bud that likes writing in my spare time and lend a hand when I get a chance. Victor would show me his stories, and sometimes it requires a little finessing or clarification, if that’s what an editor does, then I guess I fit the bill. Occasionally I’ll pitch a few ideas at Victor, and sometimes it’ll stick, but our senses of humour vary greatly. I like Happy Tree Friends and Drawn Together, cute is nice, but I like edge. ☺ Still I’ll do my best to help out, cause I love correcting people (it’s a disorder, I know) and helping out (it’s a compulsion, I know). |
