#37 Oli’s Special Day
This strip is quite special because it has no speech bubbles at all. I am drawing it from Oli’s perspective (yes, the jelly alien now has a name!), and since he doesn’t understand Yukon and Jon-Jon, I think it would be interesting to omit the dialogues.
What’s also different about this strip is that I have no intention to make it funny, but rather, I just want to make it warm and fuzzy. And cute. Hope you like it.

I looooooove Oli’s look in the last panel! Too cute to resist! Where did Jon-Jon get this fabulous idea?

Oli has officially become one of my favorite characters. Mind if I inquire as to the name? Some characters have names based on what they are (I loved the name Myco by the way) I was wondering if Oli was a similar case or if you just thought it was cute. Either way, great job. I like how Jon-Jon swung by to help welcome him to Chloroville, shows good spirit and town pride

Louisa,
I have two cats and they love getting brushed. I guess it’s like someone giving you a great massage! I also would also imagine that a brush is a very uncommon object to the people of chloroville because most of them don’t have any hair.

J.C.,
Originally I wanted to name Oli “Jero” but I thought it’s too obvious
Later I picked the name Oli for it’s cute and short.
