#11 Jon-Jon Speaks at the Green House

This strip concludes my first 3-strip long comic with a “story arc”.  I have already received a comment from the webcomiclist.com forum, and Allanwood writes:

Your art is great. Like, I’m really impressed. It looks so vector it almost reminds me of 3d (in fact, it could be 3d, and you could’ve just done a good job masking that). Good stuff. Nothing really struck me as funny but you’ve got time to hone that skill. Keep on keepin’ on!

Thanks :) This strip was particularly difficult to write because as I was finishing it I knew it wasn’t really funny and I had been begging my friends to help me make it funnier. Those bastards! Never willing to help! Just kidding. I will strive to make the next set funnier. Fingers crossed.

Digg!

  1. “Fellow citizens of Chloroville, please don’t throw tomatoes at me…”

“Fellow citizens of Chloroville, I announce the banning of pepper spray…”

“Fellow citizens of Chloroville, my opponents criticize me for not being green enough…”

See? I try to help, but none of the suit your taste…

  2. Hey you are not one of the bastards :) The ones I contacted were “writers” but they never responded.

  3. It doesn’t always have to be ”funny” funny, you know. I think it’s just cute. I like it :P

  5. Hey “NotOneoftheBastard” (note: he’s actually my friend) I wanted you to enjoy the surprises of the strip more than asking you for help… but if you prefer collaboration next time I will let you preview my strips :) I do consider you a writer and a poet, but those “writers’” occupations are really writers.
